It's Not Just A Cross

It’s not just a Cross I wear around my neck,

I don’t wear it just cause,

I wear it cause I am in love with the most amazing King,

and He in love with me,



it’s not just a piece of jewelry,

it’s a symbol,

of who’s I am,

a reminder of the ultimate sacrifice given for me,

and why you ask?

just because



On Fallen knees I come before you Lord,

Thank you for reminding me that you are mine,

and I am yours,

for giving your all-every drop of blood you gave for me,

for loving me despite all my sins,

welcoming me back into your precious and holy arms

for you are Holy,

I will praise you from the depths of my soul,

My Love for you overflows

I love you Lord and I cannot wait till I rest in your heavenly kingdom!



So you see, it’s not just a cross around my neck,

but something much more special,

a symbol of the promise made by two special beings!
